Vasant Prabhu
Chief Financial Officer, Visa INC
Vasant Prabhu has served as CFO of Visa since February 2015. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and management. Currently, he is responsible for Visa’s financial strategies, planning and reporting, in addition to all finance operations and investor relations. Prior to Visa, Vasant was at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, overseeing the company’s financial planning and operations. He also managed the company’s operations and technical services division, which includes its technical operations, physical plant, corporate services and information technology functions. Prior to that, Vasant served as the CFO for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where he was responsible for all financial functions, information technology and a range of corporate functions. He also has served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Pepsi Cola International and as President of E-Commerce at Safeway, Inc. Mr. Prabhu holds MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL in 1983 and a BS in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India.
