Our mission is to bring together leading community members to strengthen connectivity and inspire leaders from the Diaspora to be a force for good across all continents. As of 2022 our team has identified target countries including the United Kingdom, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, India and the United States. Our Work in the UK
Our Work in the UAE
Indiaspora has hosted two Global Connect dinners in the UK for our guests and members to enjoy an evening of networking. Each dinner was attended by a number of leading entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, private equity and venture capital executives, philanthropists, academics, politicians, and artists of Indian origin.
In December 2021, Indiaspora took a private delegation to Dubai and Abu Dhabi as part of our Global Connect program to convene with leaders of the diaspora residing in the UAE. The delegation gave participants the opportunity to connect and collaborate with leaders on the themes of entrepreneurship, innovation, and philanthropy. As a growing global hub of innovation, the UAE offered our delegates unique opportunities to explore the industries propelling the country forward.
Our Work in Canada
In 2018 Indiaspora took a delegation to Canada to attend the Parliament of Canada’s “Question Hour” with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as a meeting with the Canada – India Parliamentary Friendship Group. We also held exclusive meetings with leadership and prominent members of the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Canada-India Foundation and the Canada-India Business Council (C-IBC). In 2022, Indiaspora attended C-IBC’s Diwali event, at which our founder MR Rangaswami was presented his 2020 Global Service Award.
Davos, Switzerland: World Economic Forum
In May 2022, Indiaspora made its debut at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, engaging in impactful conversations with influential Indian-origin leaders from diverse professions and representing various countries. With strengthened connections we hope to return to the World Economic Forums for years to come with even more initiatives to assist young entrepreneurs.
