Dr. Rupa Dainer - Chief Surgical Officer, PSV and Former Commander in the U.S. Navy

"There were many obstacles along the way, not the least of which centered around my Indian heritage and the fact that I am a woman – while it would be naive to say those challenges no longer exist, I can say with conviction that our world is evolving towards a better tomorrow, and I am thrilled to have played a part."

Dr. Dainer has served in the U.S. Navy for over 18 years working on multiple missions around the world. After serving the country as a Commander in the U.S. Navy, she is currently the Chief Surgical Officer at Pediatric Specialists of Virginia

Ranbir has served in the California Army National Guard for over 18 years in many positions from Platoon Sergeant, Linguist, and Analyst as well as with the intelligence agency as a linguist.

Monica has been with the Veterans History Project for 19 years, and since 2010 has been Head of its Program Coordination & Communication section.
