DiasporaNEXT Manager
Are you eager to help us build the DiasporaNEXT initiative at Indiaspora, a dynamic non-profit organization? The DiasporaNEXT initiative is designed to empower the next generation of the Indian diaspora, aged 18-35, by promoting Indian heritage, cultivating a culture of philanthropic giving, and fostering mentorship opportunities within our network. As the DiasporaNEXT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the program's success and building lasting relationships with partners, candidates, and stakeholders. This position is open to candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Washington D.C.
Your responsibilities will include:
Oversee the implementation of the DiasporaNEXT initiative in alignment with Indiaspora's mission and vision.
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the initiative, ensuring alignment with its objectives.
Identify and cultivate relationships with partners, including organizations and individuals, for collaboration on program activities.
Establish and maintain productive partnerships to enhance program offerings and reach a wider audience.
Manage and identify potential program candidates through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Assist in the selection process, onboarding, and ongoing support of program members.
Plan and organize events, workshops, and activities to engage program members and contacts throughout various parts of the United States.
Curate events that align with program focus areas, such as Arts and Culture, Tech and Innovation, Civic and Political Engagement, and Environment and Sustainability.
Create opportunities for emerging leaders across professions, including business, academics, the arts, sports, media, healthcare, innovation, and politics, to make a positive impact on society at large.
Foster global role models within the diaspora community who exemplify social impact, volunteerism, and civic engagement.
Showcase the achievements of program participants and promote their social impact projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Knowledge of Indian culture and the diaspora community, and previous experience working with this community is required.
Proven experience in program management and leadership development.
Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools.
Demonstrated commitment to philanthropy, social impact, and mentorship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Washington D.C.
Compensation and Benefits:
This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a passionate and thriving team. The salary range is $63,000-$72,000 and is commensurate with experience. Indiaspora also offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
