Neeraj Hora

Neeraj Hora is Head of Nomura Holding‘s Innovation and Investment office in San Francisco. He is responsible for partnering with and investing in next generation start-ups and technology companies in the U.S.
Neeraj is interested in fin-tech companies with the strategic goal of scaling and commercializing these investments by realizing synergies within the Nomura group. Neeraj also has a mandate to invest in areas outside fin-tech that are of interest to Nomura’s clients. These investments are made with the objective of helping start-ups find customers and investors in Japan, by leveraging the firm’s strong corporate relationships.
Neeraj has had a 25 year career in investment banking that has spanned Asia and the US in Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York and San Francisco. He has worked at Nomura Securities, Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan, and Hambrecht and Quist. Neeraj has an MBA from Cornell University and BA from Bombay University.
