Raj Narula

Raj is a technology entrepreneur who has founded and exited multiple companies TaraSpan (Wesley Clover), TenXc Wireless ( CCI ) , Destination Ottawa , Alta Travel and Haveli Foods over his career. Held advisory roles in Quantropi , Wigzo ( Shiprocket ),Recognia (Trading Central ), Belair Networks ( Ericsson ) , March Networks ( Infinova) , Sandvine ( Procera ), Neurolanguage (ADEC) ,Bridgewater Systems ( Amdocs), Vayyoo ( Cafex ), 1Mobility ( Qualys ), Cyrium Technologies and One Chip Photonics. His passion as a business builder ,active angel investor , mentoring start-ups keeps him travelling globally.
Raj is also the co-founder of Ottawa chapter of TiE (the Indus Entrepreneur) and has served on the boards of both not-for-profit organizations and enterprises. He co-founded Maharaja’s Ball and helped raise significant funding to assist local charities in Ottawa. He served on the board of University of Ottawa Alumni Association and the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
He has been dividing his time between North America, EMEA, and the Asia Pacific region for over 25 years and speaks multiple languages. He grew up in Asia, Europe, South America and Canada.
Raj holds a B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada and a Mechanical Systems Diploma from Algonquin College in Ottawa.
