Rohini Chakravarthy

Managing Partner, NewBuild Venture Capital

Rohini Chakravarthy is the Managing Partner at NewBuild Venture Capital. She was at NGP Capital as a Partner in our Silicon Valley office, where she focused on investments in the Intelligent Enterprise area.

Prior to NGP Capital, she was an investing partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), where she focused on software, systems and technology investments, sat on 13 boards, and nurtured several companies to successful exits.

She has also held investment and corporate development leadership roles at Intel Capital and Cisco and was cofounder and CEO of a startup, Inksedge.

Rohini started her career as a design engineer at Bay Networks, working on Ethernet chips and hardware.

Rohini received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an MS from Case Western Reserve University and a B.Tech from IIT Madras.
