Mike Tucker

Mike Tucker joined Austin Career Institute as the Director of Student Services in October 2022.  Mike has over 20 years’ experience in workforce development.  He has led efforts to strengthen communities in three states through job training and people centered programming.  He recently served as the Managing Director for Workforce Solutions Capital Area and relocated to Texas after serving as the Chief Executive Officer for the 10-county WorkSource Coastal Development Board based in Savannah, GA.  

Mike is passionate about providing career opportunities for individuals, including dislocated workers, Veterans, and young adults.    He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Indiana University --South Bend.
