Vinita Gupta
Vinita founded Digital Link Corporation (later called Quick Eagle Networks) in May 1985, and was the company’s only chairman. As the founder and CEO, she has been credited with being the first Indian-origin-woman to take her company public (1994). Vinita champions many fields as; Board Member of ‘Simon Laufer Mathematical Science Institute’, Chair of Council of Trustee of ‘TiE-SV’, Community Board Member of ‘Palo Alto Medical Foundation', Board Member of 'Asia Society of Northern California’ and Advisory Board Member of ‘The Stanford Center for Asian Health Research and Education’. She is also a journalist with publications on HuffPost and website guptavinita.com.
Born in India, Vinita came to the United States in 1974 and earned her MS in electrical engineering from UCLA. She holds two US patents in technology.
