Meet Amita, a dynamic individual whose life is a beautiful blend of artistry, entrepreneurship, and heartfelt values. Amita serves as a Senior Manager in Operations and Programs at Indiaspora.

Armed with a Master's degree in Strategic Communication, Amita has channeled her communication prowess into a successful entrepreneurial journey. Tenacious, driven and a go-getter, powerfully utilizing the power of team and understanding what it takes to make an initiative successful. For a decade, she helmed her own business, where she demonstrated an exceptional ability to elevate client growth, satisfaction, and revenue through strategic initiatives. Her other strengths include an ability to learn and implement new technology on short notice and a strong grasp of business strategy, planning and execution.

Born and raised in India, Amita’s work draws from her heritage, her love of reading, travel, and rich life experiences. As an immigrant who has been through the typical ups and downs of an immigrant’s life, Amita is committed to social justice and upliftment of marginalized populations.

Beyond her professional achievements, Amita, a mother of two delightful girls, is passionate about children’s education and spends time volunteering at school. In her leisure moments, Amita finds serenity in her garden, and in the kitchen where baking a chocolate cake is her favorite thing to do. Hiking trails beckon her adventurous spirit and over a cup of warm chai Amita dreams of spending time in her own bookstore one day where stories of people like her will be abundant.
