Jaya Vaidhyanathan

Jaya Vaidhyanathan is the CEO of BCT Digital, an award-winning global digital transformation company delivering disruptive FinTech, RegTech, and CleanTech solutions to large organisations across diverse industry verticals. With over two decades of industry experience across diverse portfolios, including product strategy, innovation, digital transformation, risk management, and M&A, Jaya combines her extensive knowledge of financial markets with disruptive new-age technologies to drive growth and innovation in India’s leading enterprises and financial institutions.
An alumna of Cornell University and a CFA charter holder, her professional journey began on Wall Street in the USA as an investment banker. She joined HCL where she was at the helm of large-deals business. Later, as the Managing Partner for the Financial Services business at Accenture, Jaya led complex global offshore engagements, working with geographically dispersed teams. Before joining BCT, Jaya served as the Executive Vice President of Standard Chartered Bank, leading the technology and strategy for the bank.
Jaya serves as the Independent Director on the Board of UTI Asset Management Company, IndiGrid and Godrej Properties Ltd. Jaya is one of the two external directors on the Global Board of PwC and one of the two independent directors on the PwC India Board. Earlier, she served on the boards of Altran Group, Mahindra Sanyo Steel and Spice Mobility. Jaya is an advocate of women empowerment and works with several NGOs, inspiring women to rise and take charge of their lives.
