He graduated from a reputed IIM (Indian Institute of Management) and holds an MBA degree. He obtained his degree in electrical engineering from the Guindy Engineering School in Chennai. He has completed the specialization course by the University of Pennsylvania on international affairs focused on Latin America. He has years of management consulting experience, including experience with McKinsey and the Boston Consulting Group in the United States, Mexico, Madrid and São Paulo. He has worked with large multinationals in local subsidiaries in emerging markets. He has experience in diversified segments such as steel, auto components, consumer goods, health and logistics.
