Sheel is the Founder & CEO of Amplo, a global venture capital firm helping build companies that matter. Amplo portfolio companies include Robinhood (democratizing access to financial services), Parsley Health (reinventing functional medicine), and Two Chairs (personalized mental health care). He is a member of the Board of Directors for Andela, most recently named the #1 most innovative company in Africa by Fast Company.
Sheel graduated from Stanford University in three years, at the age of 19. He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and was on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2013. He holds a JD from Harvard Law School and is a Member of the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Partnership and the JFK Presidential Library. In 2016, upon invitation of the White House, Sheel was part of the US delegation with President Obama on his historic visit to Cuba.
