Mira Bhayroo

Senior Coordinator, Marketing & Communications

Mira joined Indiaspora in February 2022. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Urban Studies and minors in French Literature and Race Studies. Before joining Indiaspora, Mira interned at eThekwini Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. There she worked at the Area Based Management offices, specializing in community engagement and outreach. While attending university, Mira participated in several areas of social impact, including environmental justice campaigns, workers' rights issues, and criminal justice advocacy.

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Mira has spent the majority of her time in the US in Philadelphia. She loves cycling, swimming, and being outdoors in her free time.
